Need some Alternative Blemish Blasters?? Here are my go-tos for at home pimple treatments that actually work!! These are the items I actually used in the 90s to control my acne.
What: Calamine Lotion
What it does: Reduces Redness and Swelling
How to Use it: Apply to area with cotton ball for 20 minutes then rinse.
What: Toothpaste
What it does: Dries up Pimple
How to Use it: Apply directly to the area and leave overnight. Rinse with facial cleanser.
What: Visine Eye Drops
What it does: Gets the RED out aka blood.
How to Use it: Dot it onto the blemish before applying makeup and you will have an easier time covering that bad boy.
What: Ice Cubes
What it does: Calms Swelling from picking!! Don't pick but if you do, ice it!
How to Use it: Put the ice in a baggie and apply to the area and hold it until you can't take it anymore.
What: Milk of Magnesia
What it does: Soaks up Oil and reduces zit size
How to Use it: Cover the blemish completely for 30 minutes or oevernight. Rinse off with facial cleanser.
What: Baking Soda+Salt+Water Combo
What it does: Dries out zit, reduces reddness.
How to Use it: Mix a tiny bit of all 3 and apply to the zit for 20 minutes and rinse off.
What: Lemon Juice
What it does: Dries up Zit
How to Use it: Apply to the zit for 30 minutes and rinse with warm water.
